Few things to look forward to.
NEW: Starting March 1 we are bringing back the Whole 30 challenge. This is a great way to focus on the quality of the food your eating. In the past when we’ve ran this challenge and people felt amazing. The first couple days are always the hardest but then you find your groove.
So if you want to get started you simply have to do a pre-test body scan and then we’ll add you to the event list. After the 30 days we’ll do a post scan too. In the middle of it all you will be added to an accountability group on Facebook and you will also have unlimited support from our staff whenever you have questions.
After the Whole 30 challenge, we will add in portion management! This is where quantities come in and it helps you take your nutrition to the next level! You’ll learn about calories, macros, and micros. Portions are dictated by your goals, energy demands, lifestyle, stressors, and much more. We can help assist you with that when April rolls around. In the meantime see if you have what it takes to go whole 30!
Bring a friend day is this Friday. Here is the link for your friend to use to sign up and fill out a waiver form.
We are going to use 2 days of our week to piece in some work to help build the strict pull up and strict hspu! So if you’re aiming on getting your first strict pull / push up or trying to get multiple reps do your best to pick 2 days of the week to add in some extra work!
The open is approaching! Haven’t heard of it? It is the big event of the year that every gym within the CrossFit community looks forward to as an annual test of fitness. Each year we do what we like to call Friday Night Lights. It is where we all come into the gym and do the workout and cheer each other on Friday evening. It helps bring out the best in people. If you aren’t into the whole competition thing no big deal. You can cheer on your classmates who want to give the open workouts a go and be apart of a fun evening at the gym!
