What is CrossFit?

CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program designed to improve your health and fitness. It first involves focusing on your nutrition to set the foundation of a healthy lifestyle. It then incorporates metabolic conditioning (met-cons), gymnastics (calisthenics) and weightlifting to improve your fitness in all areas.

AUSTIN NEDELCOFF
Owner, Head Coach, BA, CFL2, CPT, PN1, TPI, TPI Fitness Level 2, USAW
Austin went to the University of Northern Iowa to play golf and later graduated with a degree in secondary education. He started participating in CrossFit in 2010. He joined Crossfit Kilo in Cedar Falls in 2013. He was a part of their 2014/15 Regional teams and 2015 Games team. In 2016 he helped expand the Kilo name and opened Kilo 2 in Iowa City. Austin has competed at the CrossFit Games 3 times and Regional level 7 times. Since graduating Austin has expanded his fitness education with countless certifications and continues to seek out new ways of professional development. Along with competing, Austin enjoys coaching his members even more and helping them improve their lifestyle with fitness and nutrition guidance. If you don’t see Austin doing what he loves at Kilo 2, you will probably find him and his wife Meredith at the dog park with Luna and Albus their two labs.
