Cheesecake Oats

 
 

Ingredients:  

  • 2/3 cup oatmeal

  • 3/4 cup berries (frozen or fresh)

  • 1 cup greek yogurt

  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds

  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions: 

  1. Make the berry compote first by heating the berries over medium heat in a small saucepan for ~10 minutes. Mash the berries with a fork while cooking. Remove from heat, mix in chia seeds, and allow to cool. (I like to place it in the fridge while I finish the rest!)

  2. Cook oats following the directions on the package, either on the stovetop or in the microwave. Mix in cinnamon (if using) and allow to cool.

  3. Spread yogurt on top.

  4. Spread berry mixture on top.

  5. Enjoy!
